LightGuard — Intelligent Solar Infrastructure
LightGuard is a smart solar streetlighting project being developed under AIMOFLIGHT LTD. The project aims to combine renewable-energy lighting, intelligent monitoring, and advanced anti-theft protection in an integrated system.
Transparent R&D Status: LightGuard is currently undergoing active engineering research and conceptual prototyping. Specifications listed represent developmental engineering targets; commercial manufacturing and formal testing certifications are forthcoming.
Rethinking Municipal Solar Lighting
Conventional solar streetlights installed in developing municipal environments frequently fail due to three persistent challenges: battery theft, lack of real-time diagnostic visibility, and disjointed component integration.
When a streetlight fails or is tampered with, maintenance teams are often unaware for weeks or months. LightGuard is being engineered from the ground up to solve these vulnerabilities by merging clean photovoltaic generation with autonomous telemetric self-reporting.
Addressed via internal sensors and instant tamper telemetry.
Addressed via automated health status reporting to cloud dashboards.

Development Objectives
The following engineering goals define the technical roadmap for the LightGuard R&D program.
All-in-One Solar Streetlight Architecture
Integrating high-efficiency photovoltaic modules, smart charge controllers, and LED luminaires into a cohesive, aerodynamic chassis.
High-Efficiency LED Illumination
Engineered for optimal optical dispersal, high luminous efficacy (lm/W), and adaptive dimming schedules based on nocturnal pedestrian traffic.
Integrated Rechargeable Battery
Long-cycle lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) storage architecture with integrated battery management system (BMS) for thermal safeguards.
GNSS-Based Location Capability
High-precision geographic positioning modules embedded on-board for precise asset inventory mapping, telemetry reporting, and geofencing.
Satellite Communication Under Evaluation
Technical evaluation of low-power Direct-to-Device (D2D) and satellite uplink protocols to enable telemetry in areas devoid of cellular coverage.
Anti-Theft Detection & Tamper Alerting
Multi-axis accelerometer and vibration telemetry designed to detect unauthorized mechanical manipulation, wire-cutting, or pole displacement.
Remote Infrastructure Monitoring
Cloud-connected telemetry console for municipal authorities to monitor battery state of health, solar harvest, and automated maintenance tickets.
